Purva School of Bharatanatyam proudly presents its 4th edition of PURVA INTERNATIONAL CLASSICAL DANCE FESTIVAL. This Festival is a way to promote and encourage artists around the world, who are devoted to Indian Classical Dances, to showcase their efforts in India. The festival is organized with the aim of spreading awareness that the Indian Classical Dance percolates and penetrates the man-made boundaries & that they are so rich containing great beauty that people from around the world have accepted & appreciated it.
This year we bring to you the varied Classical Dances of India in their purest form. These performances will be rendered by Indians settled abroad who make immense efforts to keep this art form alive in foreign lands which in itself is a struggle. Another speciality of this Festival this year is that all the artists who are performing are upcoming and young artists who, despite several competitive and lucrative careers, have made dance as their focus in life thus dedicating their lives to this field. Always, Purva festival has the prime motto to bring to Vadodara, artists pursuing Indian classical dances but are foreigners. To encourage their hardwork and to showcase their talents, their love for Indian dance and simultaneously to bring to the locals what outsides have, for Indian culture.
